About the Owner: Mary R. Adamson finds joy in nature, plants, and landscape design. After receiving a Master of Landscape Architecture from University of Virginia, Mary worked as an associate designer on multi-disciplinary teams designing large-scale commercial landscapes, public gardens and private residential design projects in the Eastern US. She previously owned a residential landscape design firm in Tampa, FL and now owns Design Botanique in Durham, NC. Mary is a popular speaker at local garden clubs on the subject of container gardening and enjoys designing custom planted outdoor containers for public and private clients.
